In 1996, inspired by the raw stripped down sounds coming out of Detroit and the energy of Chicago beat tracks, Manistique, Michigan local legend, Alan Goldfarb (Track Guy) set out to make some hardcore stripped down raw sound techno beat down. Compelled by the spirit of DIY, Alan built 909 and 303 circuits out of rocks, driftwood, and shipwrecked debris found on the beaches of Lake Michigan. In the depths of winter he recorded these four tracks to tape in one take. Lost to history until now, these tapes have been recently recovered and brought up to contemporary standards for home and club use.
